Liangzhu Library

Liangzhu Library is not a large library, with only a small two-level space, but it left a very refined impression on me. The design feels thoughtful, quiet, and carefully balanced. From the bookshelves to the reading areas, the space has a sense of order without feeling cold.
What stayed with me most was how people seemed to enjoy being there. Readers were sitting quietly, reading, studying, or simply spending time in the space. On the first floor, the view outside the windows brought in trees, light, and a calm feeling that made the library feel more open than its size.
For me, Liangzhu Library shows that a library does not need to be large to feel meaningful. Sometimes a smaller space, when designed with care, can create a strong sense of comfort, focus, and beauty.
